PPC Magazine's Twelve Days of Christmas.

PPC At christmasClick for PPC Mag on FacebookOver the next 12 days, every day, one of the team will be saying what they'd like their 'true love' (ebay?) to bring to them.

Visit our Facebook 'Fan' page, to join in the conversation.

And if you haven't already told your 'true love' what you'd like for Christmas - send them a reminder by emailing them an easy link to the PPC Christmas Subscription Offer.

Day one kicks off with Editor Will Holman's pick.

Day Two, 27Litre Charlie Broomfield makes his wish.

Day Three, Kevin Leaper wants..... Given that Kevin has got a garage full of his dream cars already (even though none of them are actually working) he'd like "an Eskimo mechanic, so he could help out in the winter wonderland that used to be my garage.

Day Four, James Winstanley wants... "Today I'm currently obsessing over a VW Lupo Tdi Sport, BMW 740i Sport (LPG'd) and a Mitsubishi Shogun Evo for the snow."

Day Five, James has since realised that his true love isn't going to stump out on three cars for him, so he's re-evaluated his requests and come up with something more likely: "In an ideal world I'd rather like a garage and an E30 roll cage. However realistically, I'd like a torque wrench and some sort of childish remote-controlled car..."

Day Six, Publisher Louise has a very simple desire - for a car that starts in the morning. Three cars (Focus, 110 & Scimitar) and none worked this morning. So for Christmas could I please have my own personal AA man, or three batteries that work.

Day Seven, New Staff Car writer, James Pickering, wants his true love to buy him an Audi R8, but with the R10 TDI diesel Le Mans engine in it - but he'll settle for a roll cage for his Peugeot 306 1.9 Dturbo

Day Eight,Web designer Darren would like a TIG welder and a hot Swedish au-pair, He doesn’t actually need either he just likes the idea of looking at them both when they are dirty in the garage....

Day Nine, Mankee Cheng wants a road-legal Caterham (with a roof, heater, doors and windscreen for the recent snow), the Impreza to have brakes that don't shake my fillings out and a 306 turbo diesel that isn't a complete missionto start every time. To be honest though, I'll settle for some smellies and some pants.

Day Ten, Designer Stu, would like the Round Door Rolls Royce (only 1 in existence). Actually - he'd just like to see the damn thing in the flesh - he went to the museum it's owned by (Petersen Automobile Museum, LA) just to see it. But it was out on loan. Oops.

Day Eleven, PPC's Advertising Guru and Audi enthusiast, Tom Saunders, wants an Audi b5 RS4 in Nogaro Blue.... with its bi turbo V6 cosworth tuned engine slightly remapped to become a phenomenal autobahn monster

Day Twelve, Owelly would like a time machine and a posh bird to operate it. A Puffin or Pelican would do. Then I could fast forward the rubbish times (waiting for things to cook. Waiting for car heater to heat. Programmes to stop so I can watch the adverts etc..) and slow down... time to enjoy the good things (playing with cars. Eating.Drinking. Waving at trees. Talking crap and generally causing offence to folks.....) If the good times were really good, then I could get my posh bird to rewind the time machine and have another at them. I couldn't skip over the crap stuff because then it wouldn't have happened and cold coffee has never been good dispite whatever flappy- frappy-latty thinks it's playing at. Tepid icecream is just tepid cream. I've never had a mouthful of tepid cream and thought, "hmmm.Let's have some more of that.." And I could rewind time back to when I was younger just to run upstairs and not get out of breath or bend down to tie my shoelaces without wondering if there's anything else I could be doing whilst I'm down there. That'll do please Santa baby.
